FIELDS OF ACTIVITIES

Mastery in the Real-World Digitization!

Forensics

It is possible to perform two main tasks in the field of forensics:

     - Detailed Geometric/Dimensional Crash/Accident-Scene Reconstruction, and

     - Detailed Geometric/Dimensional Crime-Scene Reconstruction.

Generally, in the field of forensics, perspective restitution procedures are typically used in the following three situations: (1) serious/fatal crimes,

(2) fatal or injury crashes where criminal processing is a necessity, and (3) serious collisions that need detailed investigation so that their causes may be clarified.

In view of the afore, following services can be offered:

     - Highly professional “On-Image-Geometry” Perspective Restitution of morphologically simple/complex crash/accident/crime scene constituents (of         any corresponding type and any size) – presented on analog/digital photographs or surveillance video-images,

     - Highly professional “On-Image-Dimension” Perspective Restitution of morphologically simple/complex crash/accident/crime scene constituents (of         any corresponding type and any size) – presented on analog/digital photographs or surveillance video-images,

     - Accurate Rectification of single or multiple photo-sets (making ortho-images without perspective distortions –e.g. elevation drawings of elements           of crash/accident/crime scenes - to make/broaden forensic documentation, related to involving objects/bodies (their fluid spills, blood spatters)),

    - All relevant accurate Non-contact (On-image) Linear, Surface and Volumetric Measurements
of morphologically simple/complex crash/accident/crime scene constituents - based on usage of their previously restituted characteristics (e.g. in           order to perform various analyses and calculations so as to make/broaden detailed forensic documentation i.e. accurate reconstruction of events -         by determining real positions of vehicles/humans/animals/objects in these scenes at that time , etc.),

     - Highly realistic 3D-Modeling of morphologically simple/complex crash/accident/crime scene constituents (of any corresponding type and any size)          – based on the usage of their previously restituted data sets (e.g. modeling of architectural interiors/exteriors, animal/human bodies (in the whole         or in parts), boot & foot prints in soil or wet sand, tire marks, etc.),

     - Previously generated 3D-Model Editing (Reverse Engineering), by redefining geometry of their curves (edges) and surfaces as NURBS-ones                 (e.g. to virtually reconstruct the events that happened - i.e. to foresee their causes and courses in the most reliable way, etc.),

     - Previously generated 3D-Model Animation (e.g. in the forms of: superior “dynamic presentations”  of events occurred, virtual (on-line) forensic               reports/lectures, etc), and

Preparing generated 3D-Models for export to relevant computer programs.

                                                                                                                   -ooo-

NOTE THAT DESCRIBED PROFESSIONAL ENGAGEMENT IS ESSENTIALLY IMPORTANT  - ESPECIALLY IN THE FIELDS OF “NON-CONTACT” MEASURING AND PHOTO-REALISTIC 3D-MODELING OF FORENSIC SCENE CONSTITUENTS WHEN THEIR LOCATIONS ARE HARDLY ACCESSIBLE/COMPLETELY INACCESSIBLE OR ACCESS IS VERY RISKY.

Selected examples, taken from Personal Authorial Projects in this area, can be seen here.
